Therapy With Oksana

A Relational Approach to Change

About

“It is only in the context of a relationship that one can truly heal.”

Meet Oksana

I’m Oksana Peery, a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern and I serve clients from Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Pensacola, and surrounding area on the Emerald Coast of Florida’s Panhandle.

Therapy is collaboration with individuals, couples, and families, while guiding them to understand relational and emotional patterns, create space for reflection and repair, and make changes that feel authentic, safe, and sustainable.

I draw on a systemic, attachment-informed, and nervous-system-aware framework. I ground my work in relationships like those formed early in life, those lived in the present, and those that emerge in the therapy room.

My clinical perspective comes from both formal training and lived relational experience, such as motherhood and partnership, which deepened my understanding of how emotional regulation and connection develop over time.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. I continue to practice at the same clinical setting where I trained as a student intern, which allows me to bring continuity, depth, and ongoing growth to my work with clients.

As a Registrered Marriage and Family Intern (IMT4487), I am supervised by Dr. Glyn Brown (MT1974) where I work at Family and Child Develoment in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
